Sodium cases assume normal glucose and no pseudohyponatremia. Total calcium assumes normal albumin; ionized calcium and pH may change the interpretation. Fluid volume is independently selectable. The phosphate-high case describes possible associated calcium effects without automatically lowering calcium.
